I’ve suffered from depression for quite some time and last winter decided to try a light box to see if it would help. My depression was always worse in the darker months.

I found one called the Litepod at http://www.sad-light-boxes.co.uk which is small enough to use at home or when i’m away from home. It made a difference to me with in days of first using it. I was quite surprised how much it changed my day and helped against depression.

I’d definately recommend one as it’s such a simple solution really. I guess it may not work for all but it did for me. I’m surprised SAD isn’t more widely reported on.
