Disposable culture is a major part of the problem. I agree with Chris, we need to focus on durable quality alternatives and energy saving measures.

I’m sorry to hear that thte Pasta Cooker does not work. I found it earlier and was very intrigued by the ”device”.
And, yes, disposable culture is part of the problem, but not going away overnight. In the meantine, having more eco-friendly options for disposable items is one INTERIM SOLUTION.

I agree with above...the focus should be on durable goods that hve low embodied energy as considered over their life cycle. A good pressure cooker used diligently will save more energy over its lifetime plus helps offset the cost of transporting heavy canned goods via buying dried beans...you ave energy coming and going.

How could using disposable cutlery be more green than using, oh, silverware that’s been around for 100 years and that can last for who knows how long more?
The only useful product above is the Sandclean - as it is superior to and lasts longer than steelwool pads (which have a poor life cycle, etc.).
